Worka Sakaro Washing Sation is located in the Gedio Zone. The washing station works with over 400 smallholder farmers in the region. These farmers grow their coffee on the steep mountain slopes at approximately 2,000 to 2,200 meters above sea level. The coffee is grown in the shade of Birbira, Corsica Africana, and Ensete Ventricosum trees. The coffee is picked when the cherries are ripe and then dried on raised beds for 18 to 21 days. Once the coffee is dried it is then milled to remove the husks and stored in a local warehouse before being transported for final processing before shipment.
This coffee is one of the best i’ve had. It’s super juicy and jammy- a fruity explosion for all of your senses. we are ordering a bigger bag!

Firstly, the packaging is GORGEOUS, and the flavor of the coffee follows through with quality taste. I'm a major blueberry note fan and when I read the blueberry pie note I knew it was a must try. The note comes out so nicely! I've been searching for a quality blueberry note coffee for MONTHS since my normal one is no longer being made. This one has definitely taken my favorite spot. The strawberry is jammy and delicious. This was my first experience with Methodical coffee and it certainly won't be my last.. This coffee is quality. The customer service is superb, the shipping was speedy, the packaging beautiful, and the coffee absolutely fantastic. Expect quality in every aspect with Methodical. Honestly can't wait to try more of their beans!!

Not the Worst, Not the Best
It was a well done coffee. I just didn't experience as much pronounced berry flavor as I was expecting. I could see this being a consistent cup for someone who likes a more restrained taste.
This coffee was delicious brewed with the kalita and the chemex. Its delicious fruity notes stood out every time we tasted it. I’d definitely get it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a fruit forward coffee.
