Vibrant and juicy mouthfeel, with tasting notes of peaches and black tea.
Ruarai means “place of rocks,” which refers to the very rock-filled Ruarai River that flows alongside the Ruarai coffee mill. This coffee is sourced from The Ruthaka Farmers’ Cooperative Society, a group of around 600 smallholder farmers harvesting approximately 280 tons of coffee cherry per year. In Nyeri County, the coffee trees are located at the foot of Mt. Kenya, and grow in rich, red volcanic soil.

Excellent roast- dark fruit curranty but citric fruit plum prune add sweetness to the brew long soft at the end complex and dense but very pleasing great choice for the kenyan devotees and newbies too curious about this esteemed terroir
Very Nice Coffee!!
This is the third coffee I've ordered from Methodical, and I'd say it is my favorite. I've grown very fond of Kenyan coffee. I would recommend the Ruarai AA to coffee drinkers who enjoy the "Kenyan coffee profile" and to new coffee drinkers, looking for a quality example of what you can get from Kenya. Every order I've placed with Methodical has arrived on time and as advertised. Will be trying more soon!
