This coffee is part of our Reserve line—a line that brings you the rarest most unique coffee experiences from around the world. Available only in our 8oz reserve bags, this is a very limited release.
This is our first gesha varietal from Panama. It's produced through La Palma y El Tucan's Neighbors project—a collaborative effort to help growers produce world class coffees.
Grown at 1,800 meters above sea level, this nano lot is a special edition from Creativa, located in Chiriquí province of Panamá. Creativa is a processing facility that serves as a canvas for passionate coffee professionals to create masterpieces that will elevate your taste experience.
For the static cherry process, the ambient environment is crucial. The coffee cherries are sealed into plastic tanks with no oxygen present for 24 to 72 hours. By creating an anaerobic environment, certain bacteria and yeast develop at a slower rate. These relatively short fermentation lends a subtle vibrancy to the profile, due to the prevalence of lactic acids in the cherry.
