Our Natural Guji is one glistening diamond in the crown jewels of Ethiopian coffee. A staggering number of genetic heirloom varietals paired with pristine growing conditions help Ethiopia yield some of the most special coffee available. The Natural Guji contains what we’ve come to expect from Ethiopian coffee - soft, ripe berries; sparkling, bright acidity.
Where is it from?
Hambela farm is nestled in the fertile state of Oromia in the Guji zone, with 494 acres devoted to coffee crops. The farm is a subset of METAD, an agriculture development company responsible for growing and harvesting under strict standards, grading the resulting crop in their quality lab, and allocating the coffees to export. METAD is a frontrunner in sustainable farming and processing practices. They are also making socially responsible choices, which has led them to a large number of female employees and a reinvestment in the community at large.
