About this coffee
Finca La Curz is located in Buesaco, Nariño, Colombia and run by Artemio Libardo Lopez. The farm sits at a range of elevations between 1,950 and 2,050 masl (meters above seal level) and consists of 3 hectares in total, with 9,000 trees in total. Within those 9,000 trees, Artemio grows Caturra, Castillo and Colombia; this lot is a mix of all three varieties. This is a honey processed coffee, a process that has become increasingly popular in the region over the past few years. And the reason is no surprise, cup quality seems to be exceptional. Artemio's process consists of selecting only the ripest cherries, de-pulping and then drying on covered African beds for between 15-20 days. We are proud to be able to work with producers like Artemio and look forward to future harvests of his honey processed coffee!
