Mr. Guerrero was the first to introduce coffee to the Tangua area. The town used to be a wheat and bean production area, but as business started to go downhill Mr. Guerrero saw an opportunity to explore with coffee. It was however a risky chance because he didn't know if the coffee would be productive in the area or not – due to the high altitude – but it turned out pretty well for him and now there are others following his footsteps.
