A fruity and flavorful natural Ethiopian coffee from the mountains of the Bombe Village.

For the smallholder coffee farmers of Bombe Village, pooling their lots to produce larger lots is advantageous for price and for selling. But in at the processing mill, the cherries are also sorted by size. The cherries are put through screens of varying screen sizes and grouped. Each producer's coffee cherries demonstrate their own terroir, but when brought together and pooled by size, these top lots contribute a nuanced diversity to the coffee profile, creating a unique new flavor description.

These coffees are coordinated by Asnake Bekele and Akililu Admassu, partners of ours that we've sourced coffees from through our importing partner for years now. Asnake is single-handedly responsible for us all having the privilege of drinking quality natural-processed Sidama coffee! He is a pioneer, collaborator, and coffee lover that we are very thankful for.
