When you find something dependable, you should hold onto it. We've offered Lucia and Ronny's coffee from Antigua, Guatemala for many years and we don't plan to stop. This year's harvest hasn't disappointed. If you're looking for a classic daily drinker, La Soledad is for you.
Luicia, and her husband Ronny, come from generations of coffee farmers and have coffee cultivation in their blood. They run Bella Vista, a coffee processing mill in Antigua, and source coffee from local small producers. They also manage coffee estates where the owners are no longer capable of managing it themselves. They use their broad reach and deep experience to teach farmers on best practices such as aggressive pruning at the end of each year to combat disease, to make coffee picking easier for women, and to remove the need for chemical inputs.
For the Zelaya family, their coffee endeavors are not only about business; their aim is to provide a good basis for generations of their family and community to come. With this in mind, they are constantly looking for ways to provide jobs to as many families in their communities as possible, as well as supplying the best quality coffee possible to their clients.
Guatemala, La Soledad
I am in the middle of a bag of this coffee -- it's excellent. Interesting flavors, nicely roasted. I am making it as espresso, and it's been easy to dial in and work with. I was disappointed to not that it is now sold out -- hope you will get more soon!
Amazing, smooth coffee
Friends gave me a subscription to Methodical coffee, and had it shipped to Michigan. I received Guatemala, La Soledad. Amazing flavor. Extremely smooth coffee with no acid taste! Will definitely be purchasing more of this coffee. Absolutely the best coffee I have ever tried. (And believe me, I am an avid coffee drinker)! You will love it.
Guatemala La Soledad
This is one of the best and smooth tasting coffee ever. I get so excited to drink it everyday.
This is an ideal coffee bean for cappuccinos. All the tasting notes come through beautifully for a luxurious result. Use a ratio of 1:1.5 and you won't be disappointed. Along with Guatemala Ixlama and Blue Boy, this is my new go to coffee!
One of my favorites
Aroma is amazing wet or dry. Easy to dial in. Just a great sipping coffee for all occasions.
