Grown at a high altitude and a blend from two different farms, this naturally processed Java varietal produces a flavor profile of passionfruit, cherry, and almond. Where its from
This is a blend of coffees produced at two different farms, both owned by Luis Alberto Balladarez. In this case, after cupping the Java from both farms individually and then together as a blend, he and his team decided that the blend offered the best quality and profile. The two farms are Finca Lo Prometido and Finca La Bendicion. Both coffees are the Java varietal and grown at the top of their mountains (1,650 masl) which produce a vibrant flavor. Luis Alberto established himself as a mill owner but one of the things that makes him so unique is that he owns and manages several farms that have produced award winning coffees. This makes him one of the most trusting millers in Nicaragua and a producer we love sourcing from.
