Region

San Pedro Necta, Huehuetenango, Guatemala

Driving the steep switchbacks to Finca La Colmenita, or "The Beehive," offers stunning views of the valleys of San Pedro Necta. Located at 1850 to 2000 masl, this cloud-kissed farm was purchased by Francisco Cardona Martin in 2002, who aimed to produce top-quality coffee through innovative techniques and selective planting of Caturra and Bourbon varieties. Known affectionately as "Chico Cardona," Francisco invests nearly all profits back into the farm and is a beloved figure in the community, known for his kind and cheerful nature. His passion for bees adds another dimension to the farm, not only providing inspiration for the name La Colmenita, but also producing a delightful honey that provides a secondary income for the farm.

Can this item be returned?

For all non coffee or tea items, a full refund can be requested if the items are unused within 30 days of delivery. To start a refund, email us at info@methodicalcoffee.com and we'll get your taken care of.

What if my package is delayed?

Sometimes our shipping partners experience delays due to weather, heightened demand, technical issues, pandemics, or aliens. All of which is out of our hands, except the aliens, but that's not for here.

If your package is delayed, let us know and we'll track it down and escalate its delivery. If it's delayed more than 2 weeks past the shipment date, and your order includes coffee, we'll either refund your money or ship you fresh coffee at no cost.

Can my coffee be ground?

By you? Yes. By us, sadly, no. Currently, we can only ship whole-bean coffee.

When will my order ship?

Freshness is critical to fully enjoying coffee. We roast to order to ensure your coffee is at peak freshness when it arrives. We roast to order and ship Monday-Thursday. Orders are usually fulfilled the production day after they are placed (for example, orders placed on Monday will ship on Tuesday). Orders placed Thursday-Sunday will be fulfilled and shipped on Monday.
