Summer softens into fall.

Watercolor, our late summer seasonal, bridges the best of both summer and autumn as one season gradually gives way to the next. Warm afternoons softened by cool mornings, greens fading into gold, familiar comforts taking on new depth. Like watercolor on paper, the transition isn't defined by hard edges, but by the beauty of one moment becoming another.

Watercolor was crafted with that same sense of movement. Rather than competing for attention, each coffee of this blend yields to the next, creating a cup whose character is found in the spaces between. A lively sweetness carries the last impressions of summer, gradually giving way to the warmth and spice of autumn. Gentle, layered, and quietly expressive, it invites you to linger on every sip while never losing its sense of balance.

How to Brew

Grind

26.5 grams of coffee ground medium

Water

400 grams of 205*F water

Brew

Pour 50 grams of water to start. After 30 seconds, pour to 200g. At 1:00 pour to 300g. At 1:30 pour to 400g. Finish at 3:00.

Dose

18 grams finely-ground coffee

Yield

40 grams of espresso

FAQ

When will my order ship?

Freshness is critical to fully enjoying coffee. We roast to order to ensure your coffee is at peak freshness when it arrives. We roast to order and ship Monday-Thursday. Orders are usually fulfilled the production day after they are placed (for example, orders placed on Monday will ship on Tuesday). Orders placed Thursday-Sunday will be fulfilled and shipped on Monday.
Can my coffee be ground?

By you? Yes. By us, sadly, no. Currently, we can only ship whole-bean coffee.
What if my package is delayed?

Sometimes our shipping partners experience delays due to weather, heightened demand, technical issues, pandemics, or aliens. All of which is out of our hands, except the aliens, but that's not for here.

If your package is delayed, let us know and we'll track it down and escalate its delivery. If it's delayed more than 2 weeks past the shipment date, and your order includes coffee, we'll either refund your money or ship you fresh coffee at no cost.
Can this item be returned?

For safety, coffee and tea products cannot be returned. Gift cards are also considered final sale items and cannot be returned. Brew gear, apparel, or other non-perishable products, can be returned for a full refund as long as the items are unused and within 30 days of delivery.
