Atlanta holds a special place in our hearts as one of our favorite cities. There are a lot of reasons for this, but it probably won’t surprise you that at the top of the list is how much good coffee is available in Atlanta. There are many different neighborhoods within the I-285 Bypass perimeter, and each has its own vibe. While there are, of course, many more excellent coffee shops in Atlanta besides the ones on this list, these are some of our top picks that you’re sure to enjoy.

What To Order at the Top Atlanta Coffee Shops
We’re pretty sure you can’t go wrong with anything at these coffee shops. We have enjoyed the experience every single time we’ve been to each one! Here is what you can expect from each, and some of our favorite orders.
1. Academy Coffee ATL

Located near Virginia Highlands, Academy really pushes the boundaries for both coffee and tea. Known for their mixologist approach, they offer beverages you simply can’t find anywhere else. Don’t play it safe — get one of their amazing specialty beverages like the Bee Sneeze and Blue Steel. Yum!
2. BRASH Coffee Roasters

BRASH now has several locations around Atlanta. The first is their beautiful “box” location in West Midtown: a modern aesthetic made from shipping containers. They are also located in the Atlanta History Center, and there’s a new “HugeX” BRASH location on Peachtree, not far from the Atlanta Botanical Garden. You might even get lucky and see their old-fashioned BRASH “Beast” driving around and serving up some great coffee. Pick yourself up an iced latte.

3. Chrome Yellow

Chrome Yellow is a hub for the community. We enjoy it so much that it’s actually in our top 10 list of coffee shops around the country! Their shop on Edgewood Ave. is a homegrown staple that has only improved with time. Try one of their seasonal lattes, and make sure to go home with a bag (or two) of coffee to brew later!
4. Con Leche

Con Leche is a gorgeous spot in Reynoldstown. In addition to coffee, they’ve got great toast options, like ricotta and peach or almond butter and honey, that pair great with the rich creaminess of their signature vanilla latte. Or, can you say crème brûlée french toast or carrot cake stuffed french toast? Oh my! If you’re a local, check out their membership program! It’s a great deal.
5. East Pole

East Pole is an Atlanta staple. They roast and brew at their beautiful location slightly north of Piedmont Park. Pick up a bag of coffee and a pour-over. They also have great subscriptions to buy bags of beans at different frequencies, and gift cards as well.
6. Finca to Filter

Finca to Filter is on a mission to create an inclusive and community-centric space in the West End. From open mic night, run club, and drag bingo, the energy of this shop is always on point. Try out their seasonal espresso spritzer. They also have a loyalist club membership for locals and a subscription service to get bags of coffee to go.
7. Le Bon Nosh

As Le Bon Nosh’s founder, Forough Vakili, says, “Convenient food doesn’t have to be impersonal and formulaic.” And while Le Bon Nosh is indeed a convenient all-day cafe, wine bar, and restaurant, it is anything but impersonal and formulaic. Located in Buckhead, Le Bon Nosh sets a very high bar for quality delicacies, service, and experience. Try the salted honey latte for something a little different, or your usual drink of choice. And did we mention their space is drop-dead gorgeous? Whatever you get, don’t get it to go — plan to stay awhile.
8. Momo Cafe

Momo is a Japanese-inspired cafe attached to the Momomokai restaurant in Midtown. Come for breakfast, but stay for the ramen. Try one of their signature lattes, like the black sesame latte. And definitely splurge a little and try their matcha soft serve ice cream! If you want coffee with a touch of something a little different, this is the place for you!
9. Spiller Park
